February is popular with families who want to use the school half-term break, which usually falls in the middle of the month in England, Wales and Scotland, though dates differ between local authorities. Outside half-term, couples and retired travellers often enjoy comfortable temperatures for walking between the hotel and the Haram.
A half-term week naturally suits a seven-night package. If you can take a few days either side, a ten-night itinerary gives more time in Madinah.
